About Your Next Opportunity
Applications are invited for a part-time Maternity Relief, Pathology Specimen Collector in Tenterfield/Stanthorpe Collection Centres. In this role, you will be working between both centres Monday to Friday from 7:00 am - 12:00 pm.
Your primary responsibility will be taking blood samples from patients and maintaining positive relationships with external clients, GPs, and Medical Centre staff.
Some of the more specific responsibilities of the position will be to:

• Treat our patients with care and compassion;
• Receive urine and faeces samples;
• Record patient information;
• Complete online training via our eLearning training system; and
• Liaise with referrers and ancillary services in other health settings.

There may be an opportunity to extend after the Maternity Leave period, based in our Stanthorpe Collection Centre.
About You

A First Aid Certificate is also a requirement of the role.
Although not essential, a Certificate III in Pathology Specimen Collection as well as previous experience working in the health, aged care or community sectors with a natural knack for caring for others will also be regarded highly.
