Patient Bookings Team

We are currently looking for highly motivated individuals who are dedicated to providing exceptional customer service to every patient. This position is located within our Patient Bookings Team at Westmead and is close to public transport. This role is full time although part timehours can be negotiated (min 4 days).

The successful applicant will work as an important member of the team and provide the following administrative support:

• Schedule specialised bookings within the Patient Bookings environment for all radiology services
• Book appointments and update patient details in the Radiology Information System (RIS)
• Answer calls regarding bookings and general enquiries while taking and relaying messages as required
• Action incoming email traffic from referrers/patients requesting bookings or general enquiries
• Using knowledge of the examination preparation and procedures to give clear and accurate instructions to patients with confidence and no supervision
• Maintain patient records, examination statistics and related information as required

To be considered for the role, you must be able to demonstrate the following essential criteria:

• Previous experience in a call centre environment or medical reception
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency
• Excellent customer service skills and phone manner
• High level attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team environment
• Ability to handle a high pressure environment
• Be able to demonstrate a strong culture fit with the organisation and our Core Values

The hourly rate will be negotiated with the successful applicant based on skills and experience.
