We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Patient Safety Coordinator to join the team and help support our commitment to quality patient care!
About the Role:
Our aim at Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN) is to be a high performing and accountable healthcare network that operates to Australian benchmark standards delivering reliable and respectful care. As the Patient Safety Coordinator you will use your clinical knowledge and experience to provide high level guidance and support regarding Patient Safety and risk minimisation. This includes the responsibility for supporting the investigation and review of significant adverse patient incidents and supporting the organisation in the implementation of learnings and improvements identified through the review process.
About you:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years post registration experience.
- Demonstrated experience in applying the principles and practice of safety and quality in health care.
- Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing and or midwifery practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
