Patient Services Assistant

Emergency Technician Permanent Part time 32 hours per fortnight (Predominantly weekend work)
About the role The Grampians Health Emergency Department services the Grampians region for all urgent medical needs. Consisting of 25 beds, with 12 short stay units and 3 resuscitation bays.
The technician role is vital to the department to ensure that patients are moved to the next area in a timely manner, working side by side with nursing staff to facilitate patient transfers. Application of plasters is part of the role and on the job training is offered.

Skills and experience Previous experience in the technician/orderly role desired but not essential
