About the role:
The Patient Services Assistant is responsible for providing a high standard of patient support services to all areas of GV Health. The PSA will perform their role in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in accordance with Infection Control and Department of Health standards as well as provide other support services as directed. The PSA is required to perform duties in accordance with approved duty routines, task procedures and frequencies and undertake any other duties within their capabilities as requested by the Nurse Unit Manager/Business Services Manager or their delegates.
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic people to join our Environmental Service team (Patient Service Assistant). You will be an integral member of our team and provide patient centric cleaning duties, transportation of patients and patient support.
Position details:
- Casual Employment.
- Monday to Sunday.
- Day shifts, afternoon shifts, and night shift positions available.
- Busy and fast pace environment.
- Responsible for ensuring that Victorian Public Health Cleaning Standard are met.
About you:
- Completed Certificate 3 in Health Services, or equivalent, or working towards completing.
- Excellent customer service skills and have a passion for attention to detail.
- Demonstrate ability to show initiative and work within a team environment.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
- A commitment to policies and procedures in order to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff and members of the public.
