What you'll be doing
Provides clinical support through providing clinical support/ patient care assistance, transferring patients and work-related items throughout the facility in a safe and timely manner and undertaking linen and waste management services as required to contribute positively to the on-going welfare of patients, staff and visitors at Blacktown and Mount Druitt hospitals.People with disabilities who meet the selection criteria are encouraged to apply; and where required, WSLHD will implement reasonable adjustment consistent with industry standard.Stepping Up aims to assist Aboriginal job applicants by providing information about applying for roles in NSW Health organisations. • Knowledge of Work Health and Safety, in particular Manual Handling.
• Demonstrate capacity to follow written work instructions and basic skills in using a computer
• Working within a multidisciplinary team environment
• Understanding of Infection Control and Waste Management policies & procedures
