The Opportunity:

We are currently looking for a Pattern Maker to join our Office Chair Manufacturing division, at our 70,000 square meter facility in Tullamarine, located just off Airport Drive near Tullamarine Airport.

You will get to work on beautiful, bespoke, Italian designed, high-end commercial furniture, with ample amount of variation to keep your role both exciting and interesting!

As a Pattern Maker you will: 

  • Design and make patterns for unique pieces of commercial furniture;
  • Create patterns for unique one-off items as well volume production items;
  • Work closely with our product designers, to ensure a full understanding of the end product;
  • Read and understand work instructions & ask the right questions if unsure about any details;
  • Decide on size, shape and cutting lines, whilst minimising waste as much as possible;
  • Conceptualise, measure, draw and cut patterns to meet the production requirements for each project;
  • Have a great eye for details and efficiency;
  • Keep your work area safe, clean and undertake general housekeeping;
  • Have experience with Pathworks software (preferred, but not essential);
  • Use your computer skills to assist your work.
