About the Role:

Within our dynamic team, the Pattern Maker/Garment Technician plays a vital role in ensuring that every garment meets Calibre's high standards for quality, fit and design. This multifaceted position involves overseeing garment production, managing samples, and maintaining rigorous quality control measures. Additionally, it involves fostering smooth communication with all stakeholders to ensure efficient processes and timely delivery, all while fostering a collaborative and vibrant atmosphere.

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Produce technical pack and patterns required for garment production in a timely manner
  • Assess all incoming samples & write detailed reports ensuring correct construction & quality standards are achieved. 
  • Review & approve graded specs and communicate to suppliers
  • Review bulk production once delivered to Calibre warehouse to ensure QC standards have been met.
  • Assess critical QC issues and provide recommendations on how to rectify Product team. 

About You:

Our ideal candidate will hold qualifications in Fashion/Merchandising (Degree or Diploma) and possess a minimum of 5 years' experience with Lectra in a similar capacity. We seek a self-motivated team player who can also demonstrate initiative and thrive independently when needed. Your enthusiastic, inquisitive, and proactive approach to work, coupled with a deep passion for fashion retail and its ever-evolving trends, will be invaluable assets to our team.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Commercial approach in making sound and informed decisions
  • Strong communication skills to liaise and build relationships with various stakeholders
  • High level attention to detail with pride taken in accuracy
  • Advanced skills in Lectra software and intermediate MS Excel skills
