About the role:

The PayGlobal Analyst will support continuous improvement strategies, providing assistance to enhance efficiencies within the payroll team. Your capability involves assisting with configuring systems and collaborating with stakeholders. You will also assist with system upgrade activities, implementations, and integrations as needed to ensure seamless operations.

Key responsibilities include

  • Assist in overseeing payroll system requirements for various industrial agreements.
  • Assist with enhancements of processes to assist payroll user and employee experience.
  • Supporting with Award compliance, legislation changes and quality control.
  • Assist with escalated system functionality queries for the Payroll team.
  • Collaborate with SGSPAA groups (Digital, HR, HRS, Tax & procurement groups) for efficient end-to-end employee processes.

A little about you:

Bringing over 3 years of experience in a comparable role using PayGlobal, you'll apply your expertise in assisting with operations, spanning from configuration to daily administrative tasks. Your skill set includes a systems thinking approach, a passion for continuous learning, and a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Additionally, you should demonstrate the ability to cultivate positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Ideally you will have:

  • Ability to prioritise tasks in order to meet deadlines.
  • High proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of payroll issues and mitigation of risks.
  • Strong knowledge of all relevant legislations, ATO regulations, Superannuation legislation.
  • Thorough understanding and ability to work across multiple industrial agreements.
  • Understanding of payroll issues and how changes impact on Finance.
