Are you an experienced Payroll/Accounts Administrator with a Creative Flair?
South Coast Medical is an independent family medical practice providing practitioners the space to provide trusted care and established quality medical services to the people of the Mornington Peninsula for over 40 years. We have established four private billing General Practice and Allied Health clinics on the Mornington Peninsula. There is a strong culture of teamwork amongst all our staff and are looking for someone to join and be part of our team.
We currently have a permanent part time position located at our Rye clinic for an Accounts/Payroll Administration all-rounder with a difference. We are looking for someone that can process payroll and accounts but that is an allrounder for assistance with accreditation and marketing activities.
The position is currently available 2 days per week, one of these days must include a Monday.
Your days will include:
- Processing end to end payroll (using Deputy and Myob systems)
- Assisting with scheduling rosters
- Uploading and processing Accounts Payable in Myob
- Calculating facility fees utilising reports from Best Practice software
- Financial reporting using excel
- Using your creative flair, you’ll assist with adhoc marketing initiatives
- Assist with Quality Improvement measures
- Assist with accreditation and compliance tasks.
- Assist Practice Manager with ad-hoc duties as required
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in payroll for permanent and contract staff
- Knowledge of interpreting awards and EBA
- Staff scheduling experience (Deputy preferred but not essential)
- End to end accounts payable knowledge
- Myob experience
- Excellent communication and general administration skills
- A strong emphasis on achieving results
- Knowledge of accreditation process in healthcare is advantageous
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Whilst an understanding of General Practice is not essential it is highly desirable.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience. The position will be based at our Rye clinic however some occasional travel between other clinics may be required from time to time.
