Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll and Accounts Professional to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing high volume payroll, invoicing clients, reconciling accounts, and managing company expenses. This is a full-time position offering an opportunity to grow and develop within our organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process high volume payroll for temp contractors and internal staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Prepare and send invoices to clients, and reconcile accounts as required.
- Manage accounts payable for company expenses, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely financial processing.
- Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting and payroll regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in payroll.
- Proven ability to invoice clients and reconcile accounts.
- Experience with accounts payable and managing company expenses.
- Demonstrated ability to handle high volume payroll transactions efficiently.
- Strong understanding of accounting and payroll principles and practices.
- Proficient in accounting and payroll software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
