about the job- Review and data entry of timesheets and payslips
- Review client documents (contracts, timesheets, payslips, increase letters, employee handbooks)
- Data comparison and variance review, noting reasons for discrepancies
- Review and calculate costs of award breaches
- Set up systems for different industry awards
- Set up client employees in the system
- Recalculate pay runs and review data
- Any other duties as directed by Manager as varied from time to time
about the manager / teamThis role reports to the Payroll Audit Manager. The employment will be an initial 6 months contract, with a high chance of renewal or conversion to permanent depending on work performance and business growth.skills & requirements for the roleYou need to possess experience performing end-to-end payroll for at least 50 headcount and more. In addition, you must have a very good understanding of casuals, part time, allowances, interstate travels, companies’ employment handbook, time in lieu agreements. This role is well-suited for somebody with strong attention to detail and sound payroll experience across multiple awards. Knowledge in enterprise agreement is desirable. You will need to clear national police checks prior to employment.
