Payroll Manager - Ballarat

• Attractive remuneration | $140,000- $175,000 package (experience dependent)

The Organisation
Our client is a globally recognised and market leading organisation who are looking for their next leader within the payroll space. Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Payroll Manager to join their tightknit team based in Ballarat on a full-time basis.The Responsibilities
Reporting through to the Head of Finance, your tasks will include:

• Leading and mentoring of a small-medium team of talented Payroll Officers
• Overseeing the end to end processing of a medium scale payroll
• Working closely with other divisions to facilitate process improvement and best practice
• Month/year end closing
• Ensuring relevant awards and legislation are analysed and adhered to
• Implementing payroll projects
• Ensuring compliance with payroll related legislation
• Upholding high customer service standards and protocols across the business
• Partnering and developing strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders
• Working collaboratively and as a team across departments

The Successful Candidate
You will have extensive experience in a hands-on payroll management role along with the following attributes:

• High volume payroll experience within a medium - large scale business
• Knowledge of multiple awards/EBAs
• Ability to lead and effectively manage other staff members
• High level analytical skills
• Project management skills and experience
