We have an opportunity for a Part TimePayroll Officer (22.8 hours per week), which will be spread across 3 days.
As part of a team of four, you will contribute to:
- Process and manage end-to-end payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- A full function end-to-end payroll process for over 1,200 employees on a weekly basis.
- Become well versed in the General Retail Award as well as our own EA’s to be able to provide guidance and support to our team members across the country.
- Respond to enquiries from team members in a timely and professional manner via email and over the phone.
- Update and maintain employees within our payroll system (HR3), and process wages, adjustments and terminations on a weekly basis.
- Assist with month-end and year-end processes.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll information.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- You must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar Payroll Officer role.
- Prior exposure to HR3, UKG (Workforce Central and/or Dimensions) is highly desired, but not essential.
- You must be highly organised and have strong attention to detail.
- You will understand the importance of confidentiality in this role and exercise discretion when required.
- You will be able to meet strict deadlines and be driven by clear routine and processes.
- You must be a team player, professional and have a positive attitude.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with the General Retail Award, as well as working with large workforce numbers in previous roles is highly regarded.
