Part Time Payroll Officer | Bookkeeper Opportunity To Advance Into Management

• Career Opportunity to Advance into a Finance & Administration Management position. 
• NO HYBRID working arrangement available for this position. 
• Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 
• Hours are flexible between 9am and 5pm 
• Approx 15 to 20 hours a week

This is a Part Time Payroll Officer position working Monday, Tuesday and Thursday with an Opportunity to move into a full-time position as a Finance and Administration Manager.

To be successful in this role, you must have all of the following attributes:

• At minimum 2 to 3 years working in payroll and bookkeeping in Australia.
• Preparation and lodgement of statutory compliance (BAS, PAYG, Payroll Tax).
• Processing end to end payroll medium to large, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements such as superannuation, payroll tax, and Workcover lodgement.
• Administrative duties such as data entry, renewing insurances, workcover, credit card payments and other duties that support the function of our business.
• Filling in for staff who are on Annual Leave, so that our systems continue to flow whilst they are absent.
• Collating purchase orders, invoices and statements.
• Data Entry into Xero accounting system including Fasttrack 
• Daily Debtors reporting
• Daily Debt collection
• Daily Invoicing
• Entering staff details
• Weekly report to the Director and Branch Manager 
• Accounts receivable including EOM reconciliations.
• Bank Reconciliations
• Generally Filing and administration work as required

 About You 

• Must have Australian Experience in Payroll and Accounts
• Sound interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Able to multi-task, work to deadlines and under pressure
• Confidence and ability to liaise with all levels of people.
• Mature, reliable, and committed attitude
• Proven ability to work in a team and independently.
