There are two permanent, full-time positions available for immediate filling.

HR Payroll is looking for an enthusiastic Team Leader, who is passionate about payroll, self-motivated with great ideas, enjoys working with people and thrives working in a fast pace and busy environment for a large department.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Payroll Team Leaders work in a dynamic environment that offers lots of opportunities for variety and change.

The Department has over 7000 employees covered by approximately 20 industrial awards and agreements, plus others covered by special administrative arrangements, so there is always something new to learn.

The Payroll Team Leader leads, coaches, motivates and supervises a team to deliver a quality customer focused payroll service. Provides consistent and accurate advice on complex payroll matters in accordance with relevant awards, agreements and legislation.

Whilst applicants are not required to address the Role Specific Criteria of this position as a separate document, it is important that applicants are able to satisfy the requirement in relation to 'Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a small team, including mentoring and coaching in payroll processes' within the CV. This particular Role Specific Criteria is an integral requirement and will hold considerable weighting when determining whether an applicant is competitive.

ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for a permanent appointment to the Western Australian public sector it is essential that you are an Australian citizen or have permanent residency status in Australia. To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the duration of the contract.
