PCA - Aged Care

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our Aged Care team. In this role, you will provide essential support to elderly residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety.
 
Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Providing mobility assistance and helping residents with transfers.
• Assisting with toileting and continence management.
• Supporting residents with eating and hydration needs.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in residents' health status.
• Engaging residents in social and recreational activities.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents.

Requirements:

• Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in Aged Care or a similar healthcare environment preferred.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to elderly care.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of infection control principles and safe work practices.
• Must live in Australia.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• First Aid/CPR certification.
• Experience with dementia care.
• Knowledge of manual handling techniques.
