We are a dedicated Pelvic Health physiotherapy service treating complex pelvic floor dysfunction in all genders across the lifespan. Position: Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist
Location: Frankston and Dromana
Job Type: Part-time
We have availability for the right candidate to start at our Frankston location at ‘The Sports Injury Clinic’, and availability for maternity leave cover at our Dromana location at ‘Pinnacle Physiotherapy and Pilates’.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with pelvic floor dysfunction.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Provide evidence-based pelvic floor physiotherapy interventions.
- Educate and empower patients on pelvic floor anatomy, aetiology of Pelvic Health conditions and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Qualifications:
- Post Graduate Certificate or Master's Degree in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy.
- Current AHPRA registration as a physiotherapist in Australia.
- Current Professional Indemnity Insurance.
- Victorian Working With Children Check.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Experience:
- Previous experience working in pelvic floor physiotherapy desired, however new graduates of Pelvic Health courses are welcome to apply.
- Pregnancy, Postnatal, Bladder, Bowel, Prolapse, Sexual Health, Pelvic Pain, Mastitis, Postprostatectomy Incontinence.
- Internal Examinations.
- We regularly use transabdominal and transperineal ultrasound and offer pessary fitting (we can provide support to develop these skills).
