The Role
Penguin Foundation is looking for an experienced Executive Officer to join the team, champion our fundraising efforts, increase the profile of the Foundation and lead the development of its strategy and annual business plans.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and grow regular giving programs, including developing and implementing donor acquisition, retention, engagement and nurture strategies and programs to ensure our donors remain active supporters of our important work.
• Utilise existing and seek new network opportunities to secure corporate sponsorships and partnerships, strengthen partner relationships, provide ongoing engagement, deliver on contracts, provide reports and other communications.
• Work with Grants Consultant to build relationships with grant providers, identify grant opportunities and provide guidance and input to grant applications to assist in funding scientific research and conservation projects.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to identify opportunities for new promotions and revenue.
• Oversee, track and provide reports on the Penguin Foundation’s revenue growth.
• Lead the development of the Penguin Foundation Strategy in consultation and engagement with the Board; develop annual business plans and budgets each year to drive the implementation of strategy.
