About the Role 

Innovative Support Australia is a medium size, profit for purpose organisation, we our dynamic and passionate about our services – and we’re growing! To keep pace with this growth, we are looking for that unicorn! A new role has been created - P&C Generalist. 

ISA has been around for a few years and is ready to step up in its delivery of all things people. From defining policy and process, recruitment, implementation of a new cloud based HRIS, performance management, coaching, learning and development, remuneration, culture and engagement – you will have the opportunity to sink your teeth into exciting people projects and own them as well as provide much needed support to the Head of P&C with strategy and other activities across the employee lifecycle experience. Being a SME business, you will consult with everyone from the ground up.

About you

You are that exciting combination of autonomous, can work with others, roll up your sleeves and get it done, take a step back, observe and think big picture. You are professional and empathetic yet have boundaries and make the tough calls when needed. This may be a step up for you or you’re wanting to move out of large corporate into a smaller business.

• Strong attention to detail and discretion
• Ideally experience in this or similar sector such as nursing or hospitality (we use the SCHADS Award)
• Relevant HR experience and/or degree/diploma
• You are accountable and reliable 
• Ability to communicate at all levels of a business
• Be creative and come to the table with new and fresh ideas
• Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander peoples are encouraged to apply
