The Leaders
This role will form part of a supportive and welcoming HR team who enjoy having a laugh together while delivering high-quality work. Reporting to the P&C Manager in NSW and working closely alongside a second P&C Manager in VIC, you will be encouraged to expand your skillset and learn from those around you. The team further includes additional Coordinators, Administrators, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and is headed up by the Director of People & Culture.
The Opportunity
In this role you will work closely with the P&C Manager and provide comprehensive support to the broader HR team across the employee lifecycle. It is a great step for someone who wants to work in a generalist capacity while developing their knowledge of annual cyclical processes across performance, talent and remuneration.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Providing comprehensive support across Australia, NZ, and the UK, participating in employee lifecycle duties from onboarding to offboarding.
- Acting as the first point of contact for business inquiries, offering approachable and well-informed assistance.
- Managing the onboarding process, including facilitating inductions, creating employee profiles, and organising essential documents such as contracts and payroll details.
- Interpreting and advising on policies and procedures to ensure alignment with modern HR practices and local legislation.
- Conducting exit interviews and providing valuable insights to the business.
- Assisting senior members of P&C with annual and cyclical people processes, such as remuneration, performance, and talent reviews.
- As experience within the business grows, participating in addressing low-level performance management issues and employee relations investigations.
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years' experience in an HR role, preferably within the private sector. Eager to enhance your skills within People & Culture alongside a driven and proactive team, you'll be comfortable prioritising tasks and managing your workload within established timeframes. An outgoing, confident attitude is key for success, as our client encourages junior members of P&C to engage with senior stakeholders and become known as a trusted point of contact. From a technical standpoint, you'll be computer savvy, comfortable picking up new systems, and show a capacity to handle more complex HR duties like performance management and Employee Relations over time. Finally, you'll thrive in our collaborative, team-oriented environment, delivering top-notch People & Culture outcomes while building strong working relationships along the way.
The Process
The process will consist of an initial meeting with a Levyl consultant followed by a first stage interview with two P&C Managers, and finally, a more casual, get-to-know you meeting with the Director of People & Culture.
Levyl encourage diverse, equitable and inclusive recruitment solutions and commit to respond to every applicant. We make selection and shortlist decisions based on your skills, experience, personal attributes, and motivators.
