About the role
Managing the systems experience to enhance our people’s productivity from onboarding to departure - our People Operations Lead/Specialist will focus on delivering seamless monthly payroll and people reporting; ensuring our HR systems (ADP, Workday) deliver value; and delivering people data, reporting and insights to drive our high-performance culture.
What you'll do
Payroll – working with our Payroll Specialist to prepare and run monthly payroll for our team ensuring accuracy and compliance with taxation and superannuation legislation.
Systems – lead point of contact for system queries on Workday (core HRIS module) and ensuring system data is up-to-date and proactively maintained, connectivity between ADP (payroll), Workday and other people systems.
Data, reporting and insights – monthly and ad hoc reporting on peopledata (remuneration, headcount, attrition, gender, internal movements etc). This includes but is not limited to monthly executive and Board reporting, preparation of reports for EOFY and annual report, and annual WGEA reporting.
Remuneration–support in the preparation (forecasting and calculation) and delivery of annual bonus payments and annual salary benchmarking and review process.
Data privacy – Ensuring that our collection and maintenance of employee data is compliant with legislation.
Uphold and contribute to Tyro’s strong risk culture by complying with our policies, completing mandatory training and identifying and managing risks within your day-to-day work
What you'll bring
On-time and accurate delivery of payroll
Maintenance of Workday andADP systems measured by accuracy of data and uptime and performance of systems.
On-time and accurate delivery of End of Month reporting.
On-time and accurate provision of other reporting required by the Chief People Office and/or Finance Team.
Reporting and analytics background (people data).
Experience in Workday (HRIS) & ADP (payroll) systems (or similar).
Excellent attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time, prioritise and meet deadlines.
Experience in enhancing efficiency and experience of people systems and reporting.
Experience managing at least one other team member (desired – not required).
Exposure to administration of employee equity programs (desired – not required) .
