We host around one million visitors each year, with around 1000 team members including ride operators, lifeguards, climb leaders, engineers, entertainers, animal carers and many more all focused on one mission – creating happy memories that last a lifetime!The OpportunityReporting to the General Manager - People & Culture, this role works across the People & Culture and Workforce Planning teams to support the business with scheduling and workforce planning activities and processes, including development and adjustment of schedules, pay and timesheet approvals, compliance reconciliations and reporting. In addition to this, you will be a trusted resource for a range of people processes, including recruitment & selection activities and reward & recognition initiatives. You will also have opportunity to collaborate on and drive a range of ‘value add’ initiatives, activities, and projects in the People & Culture space.Primary responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the development of operational schedules in conjunction with department leaders, ensuring our practices are in compliance with relevant Industrial instruments
- Support the review and monitoring of resourcing to ensure adequate operational coverage, and make recommendations to department managers in support of recruitment activities
- Minimise organisational risk and liability through monitoring and reporting of employee attrition, operational changes and excessive leave patterns
- Ensure the administration of the time and attendance system is compliant with the enterprise agreement within defined deadlines, and act as a custodian of the time and attendance system
- Assist in maintaining accurate workforce records such as absence reviews, file notes, IFA’s, and other documentation as relevant
- Support the People and Culture team with HR policy and process interpretation and advice, providing first level operational support/guidance to managers and individual employees where appropriate
