WHAT DO WE WANT?
CIT is seeking several individuals who have experience in the field of Human Resources to join our team. The People Services Officer’s primary focus is to triage and respond to general human resources related enquiries and administer and process casual teacher payroll. Operating under a tiered service delivery model, we are seeking people with experience across a wide range of human resources functions to respond to, support and provide advice on general enquiries on such items as Human Resources policy, EA interpretation, payroll and recruitment.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The People Services Officer could be tasked with projects and activities relating to recruitment and selection, onboarding and induction, staff training and development, data and reporting, workplace conditions and policy, calendar management and branch coordination to support the branch more broadly. Some of the key functions this position will be responsible for include data entry, responding to enquiries, front line stakeholder management, updating and collating training attendance and materials, record keeping, preparation of written correspondence, and assistance with other People and Culture project work.
WHAT DO I NEED?
To be successful in this position you will need to possess an understanding of general human resources practices, the ability to interpret information and provide advice to a wide range of stakeholders and excellent customer service skills. Often this work is completed within tight deadlines and limited supervision, and as such the ability to work autonomously, prioritise work activities and problem solve are key skills required for this position. Experience in a similar position will be highly regarded.
