About the roleThe People Strategy Consultant develops, implements, coordinates, and evaluates strategies, initiatives, projects, policy, and procedures across a broad range of human resources functions. 

The role encompasses coordinating and promoting a range of contemporary human resources initiatives and projects, particularly those linked to the Workforce Diversification and Inclusion Strategy for WA Public Sector Employment 2020 – 2025.  The position holder also develops new and reviews existing South Metropolitan TAFE’s human resource policies and procedures. 

To be successful in this role you will have experience in a broad range of human resources functions.  You will use this experience to provide options and recommendations to address workforce issues which meet business needs and are compliant with the public sector legislative and regulatory employment frameworks. 

You will be an excellent communicator capable of facilitating meaningful consultation and liaison with key internal stakeholders (and some external) to develop and successfully implement programs and changes in workforce practices.  Attention to detail is a must, as are organisational skills.
