DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
General Administrative Support
• Provide efficient administrative and organisation support to the Head of Music Performance and the Performing Arts Centre & Events Coordinator
• In consultation with the Marketing and Communications Coordinator, update and maintain policies,
procedures and information on the College website
Instrumental Music Program
• Assist with purchasing of materials for instrumental programs (e.g., ensemble materials)
• Manage the hire register for instruments
• Assist in the coordination of the instrumental music program – including providing administrative
assistance in scheduling and invoicing
• Assist with organising and booking excursions and events
• Provide relevant co-curricular music information to the student body, school and community
Events
• Coordinate booking programs for events (e.g., setup bookings on TryBooking)
• Assist with the setup of various school events as required
• Prepare various promotional material to promote performing arts events.
Performing Arts Centre
• Liaise with Performing Arts Centre & Events Coordinator to assist with scheduling upcoming
bookings, bond collection/redistribution processes and general administration duties.
Production
• Take an active role in publicity including, coordinating the program, taking part in the design of
posters, ticket sales and contacting relevant media
• Take part in the organization and preparation leading up to the Production including: making calls,
booking venues, attending some rehearsals, sourcing scripts, props and costumes for students.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Experience in an Administration environment (desirable, but not essential)
• Experience with OneDrive and Microsoft teams (desirable, but not essential)
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Enthusiastic and highly motivated to contribute
• Maintain high work standards with minimal supervision
• Flexible and able operate effectively in a changing environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to build rapport and interact effectively at all levels within an organisation
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to cater to different audiences

As the successful candidate, you will receive:
plus 10.5% Superannuation

- People with tertiary qualifications need not apply. Current university applicants may have to defer their studies to be eligible for this traineeship.
- This position is best suited to a recent secondary school leaver.
