About The Centre:
We are a dedicated childcare centre in Singleton, providing quality care and early childhood education to 59 wonderful children. Our team is passionate about fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports each child’s growth and development.
Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our team on a Permanent Part-time basis. The successful candidate will work 3 days a week, contributing to our dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement high-quality educational programs in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Create a safe, stimulating, and engaging learning environment.
- Foster strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Observe and assess children’s learning and development.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or working towards ECT if you are in your last year of study (approved by ACECQA).
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates.
- Excellent understanding of the EYLF and NQS.
