Our Family
Hi there! I'm a single mum with beautiful 4 year old daughter. We live in Erskineville and have a lovely little community of neighbours and friends here. My daughter is social, active, funny, loves dancing, singing, imaginative play, dress up, painting/ drawing and crafts, swimming, watching live shows, movies and putting on shows. She can be a little shy to start off with, but very quickly warms up and then talks a mile a minute and knows what she wants and isn't afraid to ask. She loves playing with other kids especially older girls- she has a 9 year old cousin who is a girl along with 6 and 5 year old boy cousins and loves playing with them along with all her daycare and local friends.
Your Duties
We are looking for a regular nanny to do a weekend per fortnight with the potential for ah hoc weeknights and weekend (on the alternate weekend) work. This is a new set up for us, so may be a moveable arrangement based on what works best for us and the right nanny- I would be open to discussing what is/ isn't working after a trial period of this set up for the right nanny. responsibilities would include (fortnightly): * Pick up from daycare on Friday- bring home, cook dinner, do bath, bedtime routine * Saturday- mid/morning/ afternoon- into evening. This would include doing activities with my daughter both in and out of the house, it may include facilitating playdates or taking her to bday parties, meals throughout the day, setting up fun and age appropriate activities for her, then bath/ bedtime routine in the evening, cleaning up after meals/ activities/ anything related to my daughter throughout the day * Sunday- morning/ afternoon- similar to Saturday and then driving Frankie to her Grandma's house in Sylvania (30-40min drive) at around 11am.
Our Perfect Caregiver
I am looking for a caring, nurturing, fun and friendly nanny for my daughter. A nanny who is consistent in her life and who can become like an extension of our little family. Some of the time will be spent in the house while I am still in the home, so I would like someone who is respectful and that we're both comfortable to be in the same space together. I would love someone who is willing to engage in imaginative play with my daughter, set up fun activities with her and also to get out of the house and do fun activities outside- whether that be at the park, movies, a show, indoor play centre, swimming etc. It really comes down to just wanting a nanny who is going to really care and look after my daughter and that form a really lovely bond and enjoy their time together!
