Practice Information:
This small, friendly, accredited practice is in a beautiful island location (yet still close to Brisbane). They are classified MMM-6 so rural incentives apply. Interesting, broad range of presentations and every demographic represented. On offer:
- Practice Nurse support and Allied Health services available
- Studio accommodation
- Would suit commuters, surfers, boaties, bushwalkers, fisher people and anyone seeking our unique Straddie lifestyle
Looking for an enthusiastic, easy going and dedicated doctor to join the practice. Our staff all work Part Time so as to get the most out of our island location. Seeking a VR GP to work 1-2.5 days a week and extra available during school holidays or when the need arises at other times.
Qualifications & Experience:
- VR through ACRRM or RACGP
- AHPRA registration
About Stradbroke Island:
Point Lookout is one of three townships on North Stradbroke Island "Minjerribah". It boasts a vibrant tourist population during holidays and even on weekends. It has 7 beaches facing different directions, so somewhere protected to surf in most winds. There are beautiful coastal walks, whale watching, diving, snorkelling, Aboriginal cultural tours with the Quandamooka people, bushwalks, great 4WD down 2 long beaches, fishing, boating etc.
