The Armadale Line Upgrade Alliance (ALUA) is an Alliance partnership between Acciona Construction Australia, BMD Constructions, WSP Australia, AECOM Australia and the Public Transport Authority (PTA). The Alliance is delivering the Victoria Park-Canning Level Crossing Removal project which will, elevated three sections of the rail line and remove six level crossings, create 5 new elevated train stations and create new publicly accessible spaces within the rail corridor.

We are recruiting for a Permit to Work Controller on a Full Time basis to Work in partnership with our Project Assurance Team to manage a broad range of commissioning activities.
Reporting to the Commissioning Manager and based in our Bentley office, this role will see you:
- Administer and coordinate the PTW system during commissioning and operations phases, and actively participate in start-up & shutdown preparation.
- Ensure no conflicting activities are undertaken and implement standard operating procedures for routine tasks requiring permits & operational activities.
- Develop and undertake simple and complex isolations in line with commissioning, operational & rectification requirements.
- Conduct field inspections to ensure Permit to work system readiness and functionality
- Undertake activities as required to support the project include prestart walkdowns, site inspections daily checks and monitoring of assets.
- Comply with all HSE policies and procedures, report non-compliances or incidents immediately, and provide expertise in directing and supporting HSE procedures and policies.
Your background
Great people skills and the ability to build trust is a must, backed by strong communications skills. You may also have:
- Trade Certificate – Electrical
- Previous experience in similar QA or Completions roles in the rail/infrastructure industry.
- Knowledge of communications and control systems
- Previous experience coordinating Permit to Work processes.
