Person Interested in Gardening

We are seeking a Person who is Interested in Gardening and Horticulture for a great job in Brisbane. Must have a minimum 15 – 20 years’ experience in the workforce. AGE IS NO BARRIER IF FIT AND HEALTHY.
THE ROLE
You will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining gardens, lawns and other outdoor spaces.
Planting: You will be selecting and planting a variety of plants, flowers whilst considering soil conditions, climate and aesthetic preferences. You will be sowing seeds, transplanting seedlings and installing mature plants.
Maintenance: Watering, pruning, fertilizing and pest control.
Weeding: Hand weeding, hoeing or using herbicides where necessary.
Lawn care: Mowing, edging and applying fertilisers to maintain a healthy and attractive lawn.
Seasonal Tasks: With the changing seasons you will be pruning back perennials, protecting plants from frost, and cleaning up fallen leaves. In spring you may plant new flowers and vegetables.
Equipment and Tools: You will be using shovels, pruners, lawn mowers, leaf blowers and irrigation systems. You will be responsible for proper use, maintenance and safety.
Overall you will be playing a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful, functional outdoor spaces. You will enjoy your love for nature.
