We pride ourselves on providing exceptional patient care and are currently looking for a dedicated and professional Personal Assistant/Medical Secretary to join our small and passionate team for busy Orthopaedic Surgeons. This role will be based at Belair but will require travel to Hutt Street on clinic days, hours are negotiable 2-5 days per week. A competitive, above award, hourly pay rate including car parking will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
This is an ideal opportunity for either an experienced Personal Assistant/Medical Secretary who enjoys working in a team environment, is passionate about patient care and has excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Executive Support with Specialist Consultants
- Front of house reception duties including meeting and greeting of patients in a pleasant and welcoming manner
- Handling telephone queries and patient appointment bookings
- Medicare online and Eclipse billings
- Diary management
- Theatre management and bookings
- Dictaphone and typing preferred but not essential
Key Requirements:
- Orthopaedic or Specialist experience is highly advantageous but we are willing to train the right person with the right attitude wanting to gain excellent experience within a busy specialist practice
- Excellent phone manner and presentation
- Exceptional customer service skills
- High attention to detail with advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Have a high level of organisational skills and time management
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of Genie software program is an advantage but not essential
- Flexible with hours
