We have a warm, friendly and outgoing client (under 15 years old) seeking an occasional carer based in Inverloch.
He will require an occasional Personal Carer who would be comfortable to drive him to the swimming pool (Wonthaggi), go for walks and play board games.
Hours - flexible on start/finish times
3 out of 4 weekends only:
Friday evenings - 6pm/6:30pm - 9pm/9:30pm
Saturdays - 2pm - 6pm or thereabouts
School Holidays - 2-3 days a week
Skills and Qualifications
- Cert III Aged/ Community Care, Disability or Individual Support
- Working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc.)
- Current Working With Children's Check
- Valid Police Check
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- High level of initiative & great problem-solving skills.
- Have demonstrated an ability to view people with disability as valued individuals with human rights.
- Are committed to a person-centred approach.
- Can commit to the same time and days each week
