About the role:
Our Camberwell team is looking to add passionate Personal Care Workers to join our dedicated workforce. As a Personal Care Worker, you will become a valued member of our multi-disciplinary team of passionate and committed aged care professionals. We work together by providing personalised care and support to deliver the BEST possible care and services to residents to meet their individual needs and preferences. You will be making a profound difference in the lives of our residents - assisting them to live their BEST life.
You will be responsible for:
- Assisting residents with assisted daily living and mobility duties such as showering, feeding and toileting to enhance daily life
- Building and maintaining supportive relationships with residents, clients and their families to strengthen relationships within the business and local community
- To recognise changes in clients’ conditions and report observations and concerns
About you:
You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Certificate III in individual support or equivalent
- Have previous experience within the aged care sector
- Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions
- Committed to being part of a workplace culture based on the BEST way of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust)
- A current Working With Children’s Check
- Have full Australian working rights and are able to pass a national police clearance
