Role Overview
As a Personal Care Worker at Kalyra, your role involves fostering independence through empowerment and offering continual support in daily living tasks. Each day brings unique challenges, and your contributions significantly impact and improve the lives of those under our care.
Your duties involve, but are not limited to:
- Supporting clients in maintaining personal hygiene and dressing
- Executing general cleaning responsibilities
- Facilitating meal consumption assistance
- Conducting physical exercises in tandem with clients
- Adhering to stringent health and safety protocols
- Accompanying clients to appointments while providing social support
- Diligently documenting and communicating with fellow healthcare professionals
You’ll have the opportunity to work in a range of facilities across multiple locations in metro and regional SA, demonstrating your passion for delivering high-quality care to all clients in aged care facilities.
About the Person
Apart from being a caring, empathetic, and compassionate person, we ask that you have the following:
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
- Reliable vehicle and current drivers license
- Smart phone to access the mobile worker app
- Excellent communication skills
- National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
- First Aid Certificate
- 3 x covid vaccinations
- Influenza 2023/2024 vaccination
