We are looking for passionate and energetic Personal Care Workers to assist our ageing clients to enhance their quality of life!
In this role you will provide person centred support and care, promote wellness and reablement and respect clients choices and lifestyle preferences. You will support clients both within their homes and also out in the community. This position is based in Ballarat.
Flexible work arrangements: We ask for your minimum commitment of 20 hours per week with flexible rostering that works around your availability
Hourly rate for this role - from $28p/h + 11% Superannuation
Salary packaging: Access to salary packaging, meal and entertainment benefits - up to $15,900 per year tax free as well as up to $2,650 of your pre-tax income to pay for meal and entertainment benefits.
About the role:
Key responsibilities may include, but not be limited to:
Provide support and assistance to the client in accordance with their established care plans;
Support involvement in social and recreational activities;
Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, medication, cleaning, meal preparation.
About You
Our ideal Personal Care Worker will be able to demonstrate:
Ability to build relationships and a genuine caring nature;
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills;
Exceptional time management and organisation skills with the ability to priorities and multitask;
Basic computer and technology skills.
You will also meet the following essential criteria:
Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (or be working towards Nursing qualification);
Current CPR and First Aid Certificate;
Current Australian Driver's license and registered vehicle;
NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain;
NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of Completion or willingness to obtain;
