Nanyima Care is a stand-alone Not-for-Profit Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF), under the governance of dedicated volunteers from within our local community, who contribute to the planning, management, and growth of the facility. The Role
We are offering permanent part-time opportunities for a Personal Care Worker/AIN to join our facility based in Mirani, QLD.
PCW or AIN will contribute to resident comfort and quality of life by providing safe, high-quality care in accordance with each resident's care plan.
It is essential that you understand the residential aged care environment and standards and have a high level of empathy and compassion for our residents.

What you will do
The AIN is responsible for ensuring:
- Personal care is provided in accordance with each resident’s needs and preferences such as personal hygiene, continence care, mobility, eating & drinking etc.
- Clinical Care such as medication support, basic dressings, and wound care, measuring vital signs etc
- Social and recreational support such as assisting residents' family and visitors, and assisting residents attending activities.
- Domestic services such as cleaning and serving meals,
- Assessment and care planning such as completing care documentation, including progress notes and daily charts
- Minimum Cert III in Aged Care or equivalent (or enrolled in same)
- Experience in providing daily care and activities to clients
- Currently hold and maintain an NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain)
- Be passionate about delivering a person-centered approach to care
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
Employment Details:
- Contract Type: Permanent Part Time or Casual Contract
- Hours: Minimum 20 hours per fortnight for Part Time.
- Salary Range: competitive base rate (Depending on experience) + 11% Superannuation+ NFP salary packaging + allowances
