The opportunity
We have multiple opportunities for experienced and passionate Personal Care Workers (Care Aides) to join Silverchain Group in the Northam/Toodyay region. As a Care Aide, we would like you to have the availability to work a minimum of 3 days per week, between Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm.
Our Care Aides deliver exceptional care and support to our clients, enhancing and encouraging their ability to participate in their own care to maintain their independence. Responsibilities can include skin care, toileting, general hygiene, grooming, dressing, fitting and removal of pressure stockings, mobility, fluid intake, feeding, meal preparation, respite and assisting with medication. Support may also be required with general housekeeping, social support and basic first aid.
Pay Rate
- Care Worker: $31.77 (Perm Part time) + Super
- Travel allowance of $0.96 per k/m

About you
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, HACC, Disability OR 6-12 months industry experience
- Experience working in the community as a Care Aide, Support Worker is desirable
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritise workload and work independently.
- Current motor vehicle driver's licence (with no restrictions) and access to a reliable registered motor vehicle with a minimum of third party insurance.
- Based on Silver Chain Group Policy, you will be required to provide evidence of vaccination against COVID-19, or evidence of an authorised medical exemption in order to commence employment with Silver Chain
