Personal Care Worker

An exciting opportunity awaits Personal Care Workers to join the team.

As a Personal Care Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with their daily living activities. You will provide Personal Care, domestic assistance, companionship, transportation and promote independence for our older persons.

Personal Care Workers play a vital role in the lives of the older persons by providing quality, responsive and compassionate care that supports a trusted and long-term relationship with our older persons.

To be successful you must: 

• previous experience working in Aged Care or Personal Care (desirable)
• ability to work independently and effectively manage time
• be able to follow policies and procedures at all times 
• be able to work with culturally and linguistically diverse communities and individuals

• certificate III in Individual Support/ Home and Community Care/ Aged Care or equivalent qualification
• a current minimum P1 "C" class Queensland drivers licence 
• a roadworthy, registered and comprehensively insured car
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability to obtain)
• first aid and CPR certificates (or the ability to obtain)
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety & You' certificate 

• casual hourly rate of $40.26 - $43.93 per hour + super
• salary packaging option up to $15,900 FBT
• flexible working arrangements
• subsided learning through our RTO selectability Training
