- Employment Status: Permanent Part time positions offering a minimum of 15 hours per week.
- Remuneration: $28.95 p/hr for first 3 months and then $30.09 p/hr + Super + Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay)
- The Program: Complete a Certificate 3 in Individual Support with us, While You earn an income! We’ll connect you with government funding so you complete the certificate at no cost! (valued at approx. $3650)
The Role:
Once a fully qualified Personal Carer you’ll provide care to your clients living in our residential home, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life through activities that include:
- Daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, help at meal times and general mobility
- Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
- Supporting with community based recreational and social activities
While completing your certificate you will undertake these same duties, with the guidance of a qualified Personal Carer.
What you’ll need:
- Basic experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc.
- Your own access to laptop or computer to complete study materials
- Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
- Full right to work in Australia
- Must be able to commit to a minimum of 15 hours per week
