The role:
As a Care Worker, you will provide care to our customers living in our residential home, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life
- Daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, help at meal times and general mobility
- Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
- Supporting with community based recreational and social activities
Our locations:
All locations are within 20 minutes from Canberra’s city centre, operating as single level homes, showcasing lovely spaces for residents to engage and a supportive team environment for our staff.
Queanbeyan, NSW - home to 130 residents
Calwell, ACT - home to 155 residents
Hughes, ACT our new location within Warrigal, home to 170 residents
To be successful you will need:
- A Certificate III in Aged Care/Individual Support (or similar)
- An empathy and commitment to the care of older people with a demonstrated commitment to meeting their needs
- 12months+ experience in delivering high levels of exceptional customer service within the Aged Care industry
- Willingness to work across afternoon and nights shifts
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
If your application is successful, you will be required to attend our three day On-boarding Program.
