Samkay Health is a boutique family run aged care provider located in Victoria, with private aged care residences in Victoria. Over the last 3 decades, we have maintained our commitment to providing the highest level of clinical care to our elderly residents while ensuring that they remain comfortable in a home-like environment. We are seeking motivated and committed Personal Carers to join our team at Greensborough.
About the role
- Reliability, flexibility and ability to work as a positive team member in a busy aged care environment
- A hands on approach to your role with a focus on customer service
- Demonstrated resident advocacy while ensuring dignity of residents in your care
- Maintaining complete documentation
- Staff training, provision of ongoing management and support to all care staff
- Assist with resident's care need, including mobility and transfers.
- Working closely with Management to ensure consistent compliance with all Aged Care standards and Samkay Health policies and procedures
- Ensuring all staff adhere to safe practices and follow all WHS requirements
This opportunity is for Full Time, Part Time or casual shifts.
Skills and experience
- Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and ANAcc
- A robust approach to managing your time effectively and ability to work within deadlines
- Have excellent documentation skills, reporting and note keeping
- Be polite and empathetic with people
- Have a problem-solving ability
