About You

We are seeking personal Care workers who are passionate about working in Aged Care Residential and have a good understanding of the Aged Care Standards with previous Aged Care experience. 

You will provide a high-quality care to the residents, working independently and part of a team. This will involve assistance with resident hygiene, daily living & lifestyle activities.

You will carry out your duties in accordance with the Aged Care Standards and Olivet Care’s policies and procedures. 

You will have a strong connection with our rostering teams and your supervisor and team leader, who will offer you the support you need.

Duties of the role

• Assist residents with their Personal Care & hygiene needs whilst encouraging independence 
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for residents and other staff members 
• Deliver excellent customer service 
• Undertake and complete tasks as delegated by the Team leader or Registered Nurse
• Provide proper documentation after every shift using e-case
• Taking a reasonable care for your health and safety and others 
• Not to be under the influence and/or use of alcohol or drugs while at work 

What you will need to be successful

• Minimum of Certificate 3 in Aged Care/ Individual support, Bachelor of Nursing or Completed first-year study towards it
• 3 Years Experience in the same role
• Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate
• Ability to use Microsoft and other Olivet Care software products as required
• Good verbal and written communication skills and basic computer skills (for rosters, eLearning, progress notes, etc.)
• Alignment with the organisation’s values
• Enthusiasm and great interpersonal skills
• NDIS Screening Check  
• COVID 19 and Flu Vaccinations evidence 
• Have full Australian working rights
