The Position

As a Personal Trainer Head Coach, you will be responsible for guiding our members on their health and wellness journeys, attracting and recruiting a high performing personal training team and mentoring our Personal Trainers to deliver a world class experience to our Saint Haven members. 

With a strong emphasis on communication, education, mentoring and customer service, you will foster positive relationships with our instructors, empowering them to assist our members to make lasting lifestyle changes for improved physical fitness and overall well-being. Additionally, you will stay informed about the latest group fitness trends and research, continuously enhancing your expertise to deliver high-quality programs and achieve exceptional results for our members. Your key responsibilities for this role include:

• Attract and retain top talent
• Manage all Personal Trainers including recruitment, performance, rostering, and training
• Assist to market and promote the personal training offering to members and guests
• Provide leadership and guidance to the Personal Trainers on how to embody the Saint Haven way of life
• Ensure Personal Trainers deliver exceptional  fitness assessments and personalised personal training sessions to our members
• Collaborate with management including on setting personal training revenue targets
• Seek feedback and address concerns from members on personal training sessions
• Scheduling, rostering and administrative management of the personal training team
   

The Successful Candidate

To thrive in this role, we require someone with the following skills and characteristics:

• You hold a Certificate III & IV in Fitness
• You have significant experience in the fitness industry, including but not limited to sales or corporate experience
• You know what it takes to make someone feel like they want to be part of something bigger and better
• You are willing to learn and stay up to date with the latest in health and wellbeing trends, Saint Haven offerings and think about what the members want
• You are people focused – you are genuine, honest and operate with integrity. You thrive on watching your team succeed and develop their skills and experience 
• You are self-assured- you listen intently, you speak eloquently, you are great at explaining things and are comfortable communicating at all levels
• You are driven – you’re perceptive, ask questions and always strive to understand the bigger picture
• You are focused on personal development and the development of your team and those around you
