The Neuro Collective (TNC) is Warrnambool’s only dedicated neurological therapy space, creating a welcoming environment for clients with neurological conditions to reach their full potential. The TNC team describe their work as rewarding and fulfilling. At TNC, we are passionate about tailoring our therapy to best suit the needs of our clients, which in turn promotes improved function and quality of life. In mid-April 2024, we will be moving to our new purpose-built location at 50 Caramut Rd, Warrnambool.
We are looking for a Personal Trainer /Therapy Assistant to join Team TNC. This role is available permanent part-time or full time – please specify your preferred working hours in your application.
The role will involve a variety of tasks including:
- Assisting clients with regular implementation of their therapy programs
- Monitoring client programs, in conjunction with the treating therapist and reporting back to the therapy team regularly
- Conducting 1:1 or group sessions in a variety of venues which may include the TNC therapy space, clients’ homes, community venues such as pools.
Skills Required:
- Qualifications in personal training, Exercise & Sports Science or equivalent (highly desirable) or willingness to undertake a Cert III & IV in Fitness
- Outstanding communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work with clients of all abilities
- Excellent IT skills and a capability to quickly learn new software
- Diligence in completing tasks in an allocated time frame with attention to detail
- The ability to work as part of a team and within agreed scope of practice
Other Requirements:
- Full drivers’ licence & Working With Children’s Check
- Annual Flu Vaccination
