- salary: $72,973 - $82,080 (plus 15.4% superannuation

- provide first level resolution and/or allocation of tasks received via multiple platforms
- assist with maintenance of security databases and security governance arrangements
- assist with performing pre-engagement checks for all contract/consultant and seconded staff including confirmation of:
o suitability
o eligibility of these potential staff
- assist with the administration of Security Awareness training
- assist with Security awareness campaigns
- support working relationships with stakeholder groups
- support the ABS’ Protective Security processes and delivery of Protective Security outcomes to ensure the ABS remains compliant with the Protective Security Policy Framework requirements.
- good verbal and written communication skills, problem solving and demonstrated attention to detail are highly desirable, as are high levels of interpersonal skills with a strong team focus on collaboration and development
- ability to effectively use or acquire skills in the use of IT systems such as Lotus Notes, Services Now and Microsoft platforms
- capacity to actively contribute to the work program and activities of a small work unit
- an understanding of the Protective Security Policy Framework is highly desirable, or the ability to quickly learn these requirements
- relevant Australian Government Protective Security qualifications and / or experience in Protective Security within a government environment are highly desirable.
