SalaryAPS6 Security Strategy & Response Officer More focus on writing skills and briefing skills, policy development, work on security plans and procedures and knowledge in risk assessments. ? Development and review of the departmental Security Plan and other policies, standards, procedures, and security governance documentation in accordance with the PSPF and other regulatory requirements.
? Develop security awareness training programs and products including presentations and various visual and written materials ? Preparation and contribution towards the functions risk assessment strategy and development and review of security risk assessments ? Manage inboxes, triage incidents and inquiries and provide advice and respond to security related matters sometimes complex and non-routine in nature ?
Respond to notifications of staff overseas travel and provide advice and briefings in line with departmental procedures ? Respond to information security related inquiries and provide advice in line with the PSPF ? Collection of stats and contributing towards strategic reporting to feed into upwards reporting ?
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders as required ? Deliver Briefings and presentations to varying audiences as required ? Develop and contribute towards larger Security Strategy and response projects to uplift the security maturity of the department ?
Building and promoting a positive security culture and security awareness within the department ? Contribute towards the information security and broader protective security team's objectives and forward strategy ? Assist the broader Protective Security Team as required About you ?
Strong written skills that are aligned with Government writing style. ? Able to produce high quality and succinct work quickly. ? Highly developed judgement, intelligence and common sense.
? High level of attention to detail, highly motivated, results driven with an ability to work independently. ? A commitment to support and promote relevant government objectives. ?
