To provide quality pharmaceutical services to Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospitals to optimise safe and appropriate use of medications for patients and staff.How to Apply

Essential Requirements

• Qualification: Pharmacy qualifications conferred by tertiary education institutions e.g. Bachelor of Pharmacy
• Registration: Current full and unrestricted Pharmacist registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Selection Criteria

• Full AHPRA registration without restrictions. Grade 2 placements will be made in accordance with award criteria only
• Must demonstrate good knowledge of therapeutics and clinical pharmacy practice
• Must be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work independently or as part of a team and have the skills to build and maintain cooperative relationships
• Must have a demonstrated understanding of how pharmacists promote and contribute to the quality use of medicines
• Must be able to participate in on call, weekend and public holiday work as required
