In the role of Pharmacist, you will be at the heart of our pharmacy services. This position offers you the chance to directly influence patient care, collaborate with a passionate team, and ensure the highest standards of healthcare delivery in our community.
Moreover, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to promote health and wellness initiatives. You will develop meaningful connections with our pharmacy partners, fostering a comprehensive network of care that reaches far beyond our premises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the pharmacy's daily operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Support the pharmacy team to provide outstanding customer service.
- Partner with vendors to offer exceptional care to our aged care patients.
- Provide prescriptions, health advice, and dispense medications to customers, meeting their healthcare needs.
- Contribute to the effective running of our pharmacy services, including Dose Administration Aids (DAAs) and the dispensing process.
- Ensure accurate dispensing of medications, including the review and interpretation of prescription orders and the management of medication safety practices.
- Assist with our age care team, systems and patients.
Qualifications:
- Current registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Experience in community pharmacy preferred.
- Demonstrated involvement with 6CPA professional pharmacy practice programs.
- Knowledge of Dose Administration Aids (DAAs) and compliance with pharmacy regulations.
- Understanding of key performance indicators.
- Experience managing budgets, wage percentages, and gross profit margins.
- Proficiency in Fred Dispense, Office and POS, Quantum Dispense and Dispatch is advantageous.
