Pharmacist-in-charge/Pharmacist - FULL TIME
The role presents an exciting opportunity for an AHPRA registered pharmacist looking to progress their career in offering essential community health services to the active and vibrant Mount Barker community in the heart of Adelaide Hills (only 25 min drive from Adelaide CBD).
Location
The pharmacy is housed within the purpose-built modern and cutting-edge retail precinct in the highly sought-after estate of Aston Hills in Mount Barker. The estate boasts of future education precinct, retail facilities, health and medical services as well as recreation opportunities including a dedicated mountain bike park, Aston Hills Golf Club, fitness trails, the Summit Sports Park, and future Regional Aquatic Centre all within walking distance. Not to mention, Aston Hills has its own direct freeway access.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Dispensary operations with accuracy and efficiency.
- Replenish and manage dispensary inventory.
- Provide counselling and advice to customers while promoting quality use of medicines.
- Provide in-pharmacy vaccination services to the community.
- Check/Pack dosage administration aids.
- Consult customers and health service providers in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
- Active promotion and execution of professional services including 7CPA program services.
- Collaboration with the management in implementation of various health services and promotion programs.
- Adhere to company, QCPP and relevant services standards.
- Supervise, support, and train all pharmacy staff as necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent with current AHPRA registration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Vaccination qualification is highly desirable
- Genuine, reliable, and dependable
- Ability to work well in a team and autonomously
- Good work ethic with commitment for personal and professional growth
